Jade Latrice - "Make It Home"
Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, R&B and Soul specialist Jade Latrice always found solace in translating her thoughts into sound. While music initially began as a therapeutic art form that alleviated her from trauma, it also now evolved into a glistening career in the industry.
Citing influences from H.E.R, Summer Walker, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, and Mary J, Jade Latrice centres her music around the trials and tribulations that people go through in life. Packed with emotionally-compelling lyrical themes, it's Jade Latrice's collation of pulsating energy, smooth soulful flow, and beguiling vocal prowess that have gone on to define her sound.
Although Jade has been writing music and singing for as long as she can remember, shyness initially got the better of her. Fortunately, as Jade grew and developed as an artist, her self-confidence quickly followed. At only 17 years of age, her voice radiates an aura of confidence, smoothness, and uniqueness that allows her to share her story and experiences through music.
It wasn't just confidence issues that Jade Latrice had to tackle in years prior to this one either. Originally growing up in a two-parent household, the shift to a one-parent household in her pre-teens presented a challenge that turned her life upside down. However, although this time led to Jade having to work through emotional traumas, it also evolved into a way to process and overcome them. By turning her thoughts into beautifully curated sounds, she has managed to work through her traumas and is now fully focused on continuing to evolve as an artist.
Her debut single with fellow rising star Judah Watkins, 'I Like It', announced Jade Latrice is an artist in 2021. It flourished with a fresh musical perspective and a sound that the new generation of listeners wanted to hear. This was evident as the music video impressively went on to amass over 25,000 views in its first couple of months.
Now proudly working with Grammy Award Nominee producer TryBishop and Christopher Starr of CSP Music Group, the only way is up for Jade Latrice. Next up from her is a single set for release this November.
Jade Latrice - ‘Make It Home’
At just age 17, Jade Latrice has managed to build up a strong reputation as an artist with an ear for commanding emotion. Her latest track, titled ‘Make It Home’, does just that, pulsating with energy, her smooth soulful flow, and packed with introspective themes.
Sitting just shy of 3 minutes, the track combines neo-soul elements and Jade’s signature vocal style, while echoing inspiration from the likes of Summer Walker, H.E.R. and Mary J. With Grammy nominee producer TryBishop on production duties, the track is nothing short of a gem. Glistening rhodes chords, crisp drums and warm analog bass serve as a gorgeous backdrop for Jade to reflect on her emotions and all of the relatable ups and downs that come with being in a relationship.
“This track represents love, and all the ups and downs and uncertainty when emotions are present. Experiencing heartbreak could have you experiencing many emotions when moving on to love again.”

DALBY Gives Us Comfort and Wraps Us Up in Her New Single "Blanket
Atlanta, Ga - November 5, 2021 EFFING HUMAN RECORDS Presents DALBY and her new single BLANKET produced by legendary super producer Tricky Stewart
Dalby’s newest single is a tune that checks all boxes, mid-tempo, catchy, you can blast and sing along.
“I'm really excited about this song because it really captures the sound that i want moving forward. When i was writing this song last year, i really wanted to write about the comfort that a person can provide, whether that’s a romantic relationship or just someone in life that shelters you from every storm. ‘Blanket’ was kind of an embodiment of that since a blanket is basically part of shelter and warmth, which are two basic necessities of human kind. Tricky Stewart did an incredible job and i hope everyone loves it as much as we do.” - Dalby
The talented songwriter, singer, artist, and activist Dalby Biehl is no average 15-year-old. This highly gifted teenager has found her own little niche in composing music and lyrics that are relatable to both your youngest sibling and your favorite grandparent. Dalby speaks to her fans on many levels. Her creativity is inspiring, her vocabulary is impressive and her commitment to being herself makes her music a very ‘unique’ breath of fresh air.
Born in Newport Beach, California with stops in Pennsylvania and New Jersey along the way, Dalby now resides in Atlanta. She’s learned to adapt and has translated her journey into melody and lyric. Atlanta seems to be a great resting spot for this young artist as she accredits it’s music scene, liveliness and culture as the cultivator for the exposure, new connections and growth she’s experienced over the past few years.
In a nutshell Dalby is a loyal, family- oriented, sports loving, authentic teenager who loves to read dystopian books, bake, and do puzzles. She’s a Bears and Steelers fan who attends Cubs games as much as she possibly can. She adores her little big brother, LOVES Christmas, has a passion for architecture and talks a whole lot of shit. Dalby tends to stress herself out striving for perfection but has learned to gracefully accept that characteristic as an attribution of being fucking human.

Keishh - "Play Wit 'Em"
Being the only child raised in a single-mother home, Shikiba spent most of her time participating in school-related sports & activities. This included cotillions, cheerleading, and football, unlike the majority of her female peers. Although heavily impactful and supportive in her life, and in her music, Kieshh’s father spent most of her childhood incarcerated; forcing Shikiba to develop a toughness and savvy about herself. Raised by a lineage of early childhood educators (her mother and grandmother) Keishh was no stranger to higher education and pursued a nursing career before dropping out of college to pursue music full-time.
Beginning to write raps and do remixes with her friends at the age of 14, Ms. Carr didn’t begin to take music seriously until 3 years later, at the age of 17. The name “Keishh” was given to Shikiba by a former associate who saw parallels between Ms. Carr and “Keisha” from the movie “Belly” featuring the late - legend DMX, and Nas. Liking the name, Keishh decided to customize the moniker and run with it. When asked what pushed her into music in the first place, Ms. Carr makes it clear that it was her father that initially embraced the music vision; having a background in music himself.
A music career is a dream that she and her father began pursuing together upon his release from prison, making it not only her dream, but a vision that they both would share. Shikiba’s world would soon be turned upside down with the unexpected passing of her father, and what seemed to be the end of the dream that they had started together. Although taken back, Keishh decided to not let this end her, instead, she uses this tragedy to fuel her passion and strive even harder toward the goal that she & her late - father had set. “It would’ve been selfish of me to give up after my father passed, I have to keep going.”
With mind, body and spirit set to attack the goal at hand, Keishh transforms from the young aspiring nurse that likes to rap , to “Da Don”, an artist whose voice & presence is felt in a mob-like manner. With a chip on her shoulder to carry out her & her father’s dream , being a mom to her daughter is what pushes Keishh to work relentlessly in the studio; some would even call her a “workaholic”. Keishh began to really make a name for herself in 2018 with the release of her single “Periodt”. This underground banger attracted a great amount of attention from fans, other artists & independent labels within her city. The reception of Kieshh’s art is what made her realize how powerful her music is, and why she had to give her supporters more.
Aside from music, Shikiba is well versed in fashion and is setting to release a string of online boutiques moving forward. Getting it done by any means necessary, it is no surprise that Keishh “Da Don” has a promising future in both Music and Fashion, setting herself apart from any artist of her time.
